OMG lol. I thought the image was the Zen symbol: "enso" and got really hung up on trying other answers

Maybe substituting the word DAY for WEEK might have jogged my brain in the right way.

I simply guessed the answer after more clever ideas didn't work.
It seems really underwhelming..

Is there any clever reference in the riddle itself?

If you used the next page button after solving puzzle 0 check the URL, mine still said

"http://journal29.com/0"

Instead of "/1"

When I scanned the new page instead it worked right away.

The smudge is obvious but the clue is disappointing. Who uses this only weekly? How to start a new "day" would have been more appropriate. This clue does not inspire logic, creativity or lateral thinking, so I hope it is not a sign of the standard to come. Gary
