I’m not sure if this is as simple as numbers - it seems to work for the top row if you remove 2 stones from there as a simple equation. but the bottom i’m not sure - and i don’t know if it represents a ratio?

For the record, 3^4=81 but that is not the answer.

Spoiler!
Okay so to solve the first half take a look at the first half of the equation. Is there anyway to create the resulting number by taking two stones away?
Spoiler!
for the second half 3.14 is the numerical value for which mathematical constant?
Spoiler!
The ending word should be spelled out from the four stones you crossed out/removed.

Is it possible to give a more precise answer? I understood about pi and stones, but nothing works for me.
