work out on the grid where the missing squares are for the 4 square battleship is and the two missing squares for the 3 square battleship is

use the top row of the grid for the first coordinate Start from top down and going right, write down what the two letter coordinates are

write down the 4 sets of coordinates up and you’ll get a word
Now please help me again on 132?

the battleship mechanic works for either both solitaire (which I think is the case) or normal boardgame
Yet I am still looking for what I am doing wrong

If I know correctly there should be no ships around their borders horizontally vertical and diagonally
We are looking for a word from the positions of the ships that are missing aka the 4 and 3 wide ship and thus decypher which of the positions can hold those 2
But what confuses me is

are we actually limited by the options given on the first page or we have the whole board and thus do multiple scenarios and anagram the letters

This one was a journey... I will post my steps.

So, it is already established that this is indeed a game of Solitaire Battleships
Spoiler!
The rules of the game that we need are:
1) all ships are placed before the start (one 1 square, two 2 squares, one 3 squares and one 4 squares) ;
2) each ship has a buffer zone that encloses it on all sides + corners and is 1 square thick;

Use the couples of letters from the first page and cross them off the board. Be mindful of where the "empty" coordinates land because

this will help you identify which are the ships that have already been eliminated

we are left with one 2-square and one 1 square ships that really are the unsunken 3 and 4 squares ones from the previous page

Again, be mindful of the "empty" coordinates + the buffer zones and you will be able to see which is which and how they are oriented

the coordinates needed to sink those ships form a word
