We're stuck on this one and wondering what we're missing.

We have the two required keys and have tried filling in squares on the QR code (the key sum or all numbers except the key sum) but to no avail.
Any hints on direction to take?

You don't need to scan any QR codes

Start at the number you get from adding the keys and then follow the maze through the four numbers that aren't blocked. The answer is the four digit code

I have to say that this is a stupid puzzle. I went down the wrong rabbit hole by

Below are graded hints leading to the solution, which is a four digit number. It assumes you know keys 121 and 122. If you don't know them, then do not continue.

Begin by examining the QR code on the puzzle page. Notice that it not a normal QR code in two important ways.

There are several numbers scattered around the white parts, and much of the white parts are connected like a path in a maze.
Spoiler!
The clue phrase at the bottom becomes 'I am four + two' or 6. Start at 6 and see where you can go.
Below is the solution. Do not click if you do not want to know it.

Starting at the 6, traversing the maze leads you from 6 to 3 to 5 to 7. The answer is 6357.
