first rearrange the scrambled letters to make numbers, color each number into the 8 figure above each word, then turn the book upside down to view the word

You need to write the numbers first, then turn the book. Not turn the book first

I have 4 letters, first is an S, and I typed them in all caps, no caps, with spaces, etc.

Make sure you take a very good look at what those numbers look like on a digital clock. And then try looking at it differently

Focus on the 4 digital '8's and the text. All else can be ignored.

Remember the anagrams on page 121? Here they are again, but upside-down and backwards.

The last word 'evens' is an upside-down and backwards anagram of 'seven'. Mentally fill in a '7' in the digital grid above it and then flip it upside-down and backwards to make it into an 'L'.

Doing this to the third word 'eon' eventually makes it an 'I'.

"There" (an unfortunate typo) becomes an 'E' and 'vife' becomes an 'S'. Reading the letters backwards spells the word LIES.
