I still haven't gotten it. Do the dark rectangles in the background mean anything?

Thank you! I was doing the inverse by accident.

Still totally lost here. I can't What am I missing? I'm not getting how to complete this at all.

Imagine that the doors covering all page except the white space in the middle. You can use 2 piece of papers to cover if you like

Followed all hints but only see some backwards letters and nothing that makes sense.

I'm feeling superblind at this point. I've followed all the previous hints as well and I still can't figure out how what remains gets me an usable answer. Any additional words of advice?
