Am I correct in that it has to do with letters on a keypad?

Well done... have you managed to work out what one it is? Im still struggling to narrow it down.

Can anyone recommend a "sound simulation" website for the Dec 4th puzzle? My keypad has the same tone with all buttons.
I sorta figured out the example tune based on it's rhythm but having trouble placing the 2nd tune with my keypad.

You wont need a simulator for the answer, its all connected. Start thinking about it differently.

You won't need the generator for the second part, but I found it helped for the first part to hear it.
