So I'm beginning to realize there is a lot of stuff on these pages that you don't use, stuff that is just there to confuse you, like ...
Spoiler!
And then there are so many steps to this solution.

Re: Page 12
This was an intresting puzzle though the internal logic to find the soloution seems to be off, why was switching letters neccesery for one of the key words but not the other two?
Theres nothing other than a basic comprehension of English/spelling to lead you towards the intented soloution.
Here’s my solve process, perhaps i did something incorrectly though i noticed quite a few others also needed to switch letters around.
My only conclusion is one of two possibilities.
1. The developers messed this particular part up
2. There’s more than one method of solving the grid
I would be interested in reading what others make of this.

Again my own logic was able to sort this, though the logic of the riddle is inconsistent. It informs through the solve process that each number becomes a letter in an exact sequence, nothing within the riddle tells us to rearrange any letters. My only conclusion is one of two possibilities.

Re: Page 12
Agreed! I've been staring at that same answer for ages, while looking at all the hints. It was so close to a real word I thought I must have missed something. But I now agree, it's most likely a bug in the puzzle. Thankfully it's close enough that some here have figured out what it's *meant* to be so we can even progress...
Re: Page 12
I F'in hate soduko. Can someone please post under a spoiler tag the numbers I need in the boxes containing letters from left to right, top to bottom. Then those who enjoy the mind numbing tedium of pencelling in guesses at numbers, only to have to erase them and start again when it doesn't work out can carry on doing that. I can get on with enjoying the puzzles in the rest of the book that involve actual intellectual challenge instead of dumb guess work. Thanks.
Re: Page 12
I got "WEAVER" by solving the sudoku grid, which gave me....
C2
A1
B3
C4
A2
B2
I then did them in order...
A1 A2 B2 B3 C2 C4
Which gave the correct answer.

Solve the matrix by sudoku rules = not more than one symbol in each row/column. The spoiler is the answer and how to work it out.

The thing is... there are two solutions to the sudoku, which makes it confusing()
