Sadly, I am completely stuck here. Looked at the spoilers and pressed the keys but can’t recognise any tune from this and don’t understand the first line of the written clue either, another spoiler please?

I'm stuck. From the clues I was expecting

a 4 note tune ending on 3 which i think is C sharp but one suggestion gives a 5 note tune. The obvious one is Close Encounters which doesn't match or end on 3
