still no. It looks like a rook if I take that last set of coordinates as Hs but key key away didn't make sense. I've tried both sets, both genders', even three away, nada

i think it's the difference in idiom. To me if A is 1 and S is 19, the difference is 18, not 17. When I remembered that puzzle this one made more sense.

I'm saying it's like that puzzle with 17 and -14 between the two keys. If I held up my hands and told you to pick the finger two fingers away from the pinkie, people from my neck of the woods would say middle finger, but the game designers would say index.
