I got the score for each of the four snooker colours and it doesn’t work! This one has ruined the book for me

Re: Page 118
Would someone please give me the answer so I can move on? Thanks

Cool 'out of context' kind of puzzle that may require a small Google search to solve. Easy once you eliminate the distractors. Below are some graded hints leading to the solution, which is a 4-digit code. It assumes you know keys 94, 66, 116, and 117. If you don’t know them, then don’t continue. . .

What on earth was the point of the numbers on the black holes!? I never even noticed the two lower black holes because they weren't numbered. I really hate puzzles that put in red herrings like this! So frustrating!
Re: Page 118
This is pathetic. Apart from being incredibly obscure and misleading, it is wrong. The required answer (2378) does NOT represent the numbers on the pool balls identified by the colours Blue, Red Brown and Black. While there is a brown ball in snooker (with different number values) there is no brown ball in pool. The third required number (7) is on a maroon ball. This book is disappointingly inferior to the first, both in terms of accuracy and cleverness
