The right answer is not listed as an option so I guess you have to “manipulate” one of them but how? In what format?

I'm sorry but I just don't see it. I know what the real answer is (close to answer ''a'' but not quite) but I don't see the link with "adding the dots". Am I looking for a number or a word?

This is another puzzle lifted basically verbatim from Dimitri's none*2 mobile game (not available anymore). It is extremely simple, but requires some outside information (Google is your friend here) and is mostly red herrings to throw you off. Below are some graded hints leading to the solution, which is ultimately a 9-digit number.
Spoiler!
The puzzle appears to ask you 'what is the speed of light' and then give a set of multiple choice answers to choose from. The only thing you need to solve the puzzle is Google and the question 'what is the speed of light'.
Spoiler!
Google 'what is the speed of light in meters per second' and find an answer rounded to 9 digits.

And the solution is below. DO NOT CLICK IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO KNOW THE ANSWER!!

So then what do you think is really the point of the multiple-choice quiz? Some combination of red herring and trying to show you the correct format/units? Seems like it caused a lot of unnecessary headaches. I kept thinking this puzzle contained clues for some other puzzle.

i admit my obtuseness. I do not know what truth to answer. None, d, neither, 299792, 186282, 670616629 - none work.
Answer with the truth.
