I posted the answer above a few posts if you're really stuck.

BTW, this is one of the most 'out there' puzzles in the book. It requires a lot of extra digging and head scratching. The rest of the book isn't this bad in my opinion. . .

This is pretty confusing. The answer is in the same format as the clue: two digits, two letters, three letters.
The two digits are the telephone area code. (Confusing to Americans because our area codes are 3 digits.)
The first two letters are the abbreviation for the country (not city, as I idiotically tried.)
The remaining three letters are the official abbreviation for the major international airport nearby.

Alright, so I’ve figured out that the first two digits of the answer are the telephone area code, then the next two or three letters are in reference to the country (an abbreviation), and the remaining letters are in reference to the closest airport to the location pictured at the bottom of the page but I still can’t figure it out.

I’ve tried the following answers and haven’t had any luck!
Spoiler!
39GRCFCO, 39GRFCO, 39GRCFC, 30GRCFCO, etc. HALPPPPPPPPPPP
OMG I’m sleepy and an idiot 😂😂😂😭😭 I got the freaking country wrong hahaha

FIGURED IT OUT! Godspeed, y’all!!

songchef wrote: Sun Dec 17, 2017 8:45 pm Ok, so for months now I have been trying everything I can to get this one. I cannot for the life of me figure it out! Am I just too American to get this? I have typed in everything I could think of and still, nothing. Does it require spaces or dashes or capital letters or anything like that? I have read all the hints but still cannot move past this page.
try separating the clue, 33 means something, FR means something, CDG means something. Also a simple google of "FRCDG" my help you.

Registered just to quote this!

As a Brazilian this one was, really tough to get the first insight. The examples made by our college make it easier for non-europeans.

Other examples for other countries:

Sousenji temple: 81JPNRT or 81JPHND

Historical Site of Olinda: 55BRREC

Christ the Redeemer: 55BRGIG

Tallis wrote: Thu Mar 15, 2018 8:17 pm This is a 'travel' based riddle, and will come easier to European international travelers. The answer, ultimately, is a 7-character code (not case specific btw).

It would be easier if they gave more than the one example in the book, so here are 4 more 'non-spoilerish' examples to nudge you in the right direction:

A picture of Big Ben/Buckingham Palace with a code '44UKLHR'
A picture of the St Louis arch with a code '1USSTL'
A picture of the Sphinx with a code '20EGCAI'
A picture of the Statue of Liberty with a code '1USJFK'

On this one make sure to put the answer in lower case
The 33FRCDG would have been better shown as lower case as the answer is
