Me neither.

I’ve interpreted it as:

When you join the letters from the clues (for example A to E) on the letters above you get either a vertical or horizontal line. I’ve got morse code from this by interpreting horizontal lines as dashes and vertical as dots.

So I’ve got . . . . . - . - . -

But I’m not sure where the spaces are, so there could be lots of variations depending on the spaces. All the words I’ve managed to create are wrong when I enter them. I’m not sure if I’m completely barking up the wrong tree.

I’ve got it completely wrong!! Spend hours trying to translate morse code. I was looking for letters when I should have been looking for numbers.

If struggling try these spoilers

First put the clue words into the boxes

Then look at the lines already drawn - A-H, H-D, M-F
Next spoiler

The next one if following that pattern would be A-E, then S-M etc. Plot these on the letters above
All these drawn lines give you some numbers

You should get 3 numbers which can be linked to American tel number you call for emergency services
