This puzzle (like Journal29) uses other parts of the book than just what you see on the page. Below are some graded hints leading to the solution.

The gist of this puzzle involves multiplying 3 numbers together. The 3 patterned boxes underneath the blank square box each become a number--first one pattern, then another pattern, then a combo of the first two.

The pattern of the first box matches the triangular shaped pattern in the top right of the page. Fold the top right page corner along its hypotenuse. As you do, you will see some markings on the back of the page (the QR code page of 69). cover the top half of the blank square on page 68. Looking at the overall image reveals the number 6.

The pattern of the second box matches the triangular shaped pattern in the bottom right of the page. Fold the bottom right page corner along its hypotenuse. As you do, you will see some markings on the back of the page (the QR code page of 69). cover the bottom half of the blank square on page 68. Looking at the overall image reveals the number 9.

The pattern of the third box matches both triangular shaped patterns in the corners of the page. Fold both of them again, covering the blank box engtirely. Looking at the overall image reveals the number 5.

As the box equation says, multiply 6, 9, and 5 together to get 270 - the solution.
