Think I am good with the B + O (as "bowl") but I am stumped adding the Crown minus K sound (how I read it). It keeps me thinking of the word "round" or parts of a bowl word. of course it all failed. I even tried the path of minus "cr" from crown taking me to word sounds...

I got this however I only did as I tried everything. How did you figure to get the Parentheses ? Was it clear in the puzzle that I missed? Without them and by rules of operations (that are followed here in the US - don’t want to assume everyone else does ) then the answer would be 32 just read left...

I am trying to count the words (max 22 words) but the result still doesn't make sense as a 7 word phrase unless there's a trick with a rolling starting count?
