Assuming the white hands refer to white letters and vice versa, I tried using the letters with the fingers showing, nothing. I tried using the numbers of fingers showing for position, nothing.

It's a 12 letter word. Each symbol will give you 1, 2 or 3 letters of the word.

Color matters, reference another page in which hands are featured, and remember that it’s rude to point, so maybe doing the opposite would be more helpful.
