Spoiler!
Each of the three numbers follows a different pattern. This is closer to 3 small puzzles than a single one.

Spoiler!
Do you see a number in each row that might correspond to the number of shapes present in that row? What about the number of sides?

This is a pattern recognition puzzle not unlike page 43 in the first book, but much easier. Below are some graded hints leading to the solution, which is ultimately a 4-digit number.
Spoiler!
Each of the patterns have a different identifying number, based on the characteristics of the pattern. Using the third pattern down as an example (the one with 3214), you should ask 'In this pattern, what are there 3 of, what are there 2 of, and what are there 14 of?' When you can answer those questions, you'll be able to check the other patterns to see if you're correct.
Spoiler!
The first digit is the number of symbols in the pattern.
Spoiler!
The second digit is the number of different kinds of symbols in the pattern.
Spoiler!
The third is the number of straight sides on all of the symbols. Circular symbols are zero.

And the solution is below. DO NOT CLICK IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO KNOW THE ANSWER!!
Spoiler!
In the last pattern there are 5 symbols of 4 different kinds with a total of 19 straight sides, making the answer 5419.
