So, first off, long time reader, first time poster lol. Wondering if anyone could sledgehammer something home plz...

I get the correlation to H=8, but other than that aside from a=1, b=2 etc. I'm lost. Unless the diagram is trying to key s=1, I'm not sure how to link the aspects together...

I got stuck on this one for so long, but I just got it.

What I was trying to do: I thought the lines at the bottom meant I needed to enter an 8 letter word. But those lines are just to write down key 44 and key 45. The answer you're looking for are numbers, 8 numbers.. Keep following the logic of H=8, N=3...

It is WAY easy to overthink this puzzle. Below are graded hints leading to the solution which is ultimately an 8 digit code. It assumes you know keys 44 and 45. If you don't know them, then don't continue.

Putting the keys together at the bottom of the page yields the keyword SETHHATE. The key to solving the puzzle is to convert each letter in the keyword to a number.

Notice that the various body parts of the skeleton begin with different letters and have different numbers associated with them? For example, shoulder begins with an 'S' and has the number 1 associated with it. S=1.

Elbow starts with 'E' and has a 9 with it. E=9. Continue to fill out the keyword letters with digits.
