Forgive me if I am just stupid..
What after making the plot.. how do I get the answer? I guess it is really obvious but I do not see it.

This puzzle uses another page in the book (very helpful but not essential), and Google is most likely essential for any non-European. Below are some graded hints leading to the solution, which is a 4-letter common word.
Spoiler!
All of the cities on the list are prominent cities in Europe. You need to know where they are to solve the puzzle. Google maps is your friend here (I had never heard of Lviv before).
Spoiler!
Use the map of Europe in the Notes section to plot the cities on the map. Once done, start at the top of the list (again) and draw straight lines connecting city to city on the list. When you are done, you will have drawn a recognizable 3D figure.

And the solution is below. DO NOT CLICK IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO KNOW THE ANSWER!!
