This is a quirky puzzle that will 'resonate' with older people (as opposed to younger). Below are some graded hints leading to the solution, which is ultimately 2 words separated by a space. It assumes you know keys 73-74. If you don’t know them, then don’t continue. . .
Spoiler!
The keywords form the clue 'phone home', which alludes to the alien Elliot in the movie 'E.T. the Extraterrestrial' (1982). You will need a push button tone-dialing phone to solve this puzzle. Rotary phones will not work, nor will many digital phones. You can Google 'phone tone dialer online' or 'Dual Tone Multi Frequency (DTMF) dialer' to find one online.
Spoiler!
The numbers on the page represent a sequence of tones that, when keyed in, play a familiar tune. The name of the tune is the answer to the puzzle.
Spoiler!
To play it correctly (in my opinion), key in each number at the same speed and tempo according to the pattern below, with the 'X' representing a pause/rest:

333X333X
39123XXX
66666333
32232X9X
(Repeat if desired)
Spoiler!
The tune is a familiar yuletide 'jingle'. . .

And the solution is below. DO NOT CLICK IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO KNOW THE ANSWER!!
Spoiler!
jingle bells
