Materials used

Post by flaemisch » Sun Jul 02, 2017 10:10 pm

For the very most part I'd agree that you only need the book, a pencil and browser.
But some riddles weren't solvable for me without other utensils:
Spoiler!
33 - Scissors or in case you don't wanna ruin the book at least a printer,
51 - Speakers, Headphones, Mobile Device
61 - A disk
Although you may solve these without extra utensils (except #51) I would say that it is at least kind of an obstacle.

Spoiler!
I did 33 without scissors. My original attempt was to just align them in my head and sketch it out on the page, which largely worked except for one number, so it is doable without other tools. I ended up using Photoshop to align them, but I probably could have stuck it out without scissors.

51 needs sound-emitting equipment, but the book recommends using your phone for the browser component and all phones have speakers.

61... having a disc definitely helped.
