oh no I got that. I just had to outsource to see if anybody recognized the commands. The friend commented that in some places (most? I don't know) commas are used as decimal points.

up, left, right, down, are not such strange commands. I think the LOGO hint is only useful for the gist, not the solving.

they're not strange hints unless you think that 0,5 is a coordinate block or two different commands. Also if you think in LOGO terms, turning 1 or 2, or half of an unspecified unit is confusing.

As a rule, that would work

but wouldn't get you what you needed. At least directly entering the best approximation of these commands into LOGO didn't make anything close to it. The comma usage threw me as decimal points had already been used a couple of times

Don't overcomplicate things. Sometimes you need to get the measure of things if you get my point.

To be clear, for anyone looking for answers.

Each command is a direction and a distance. The unit does not matter as long as it is consistent. Have fun!

maybe it's not a comma...
Thanks!! I was looking up graphing, x- and y-axis . . . Don't think I would have gotten this without you. Once again, over-thinking it.

I have absolutely no clue what i'm doing. every time i try on different logo sites i end up with an image that looks completely wrong, are there any recommendations of how to do this, or which website to use

Just draw.
Spoiler!
0,5 = 0.5 = one half.
1 = 1
2 = 2
up = up
down = down
left = left
right = right

Use your own scale to determine how far "1" is.
