I am stuck on puzzle 16. I have oalnn or tusk neither is solution. Is shadows a hint? Book hint and extra hints did not help.

Even with the heavy hints the solution eludes me.

The numerals can be converted to a date. What day of the week does that date fall on? If you spell out the day of the week it orders the 'cards' but only 6 are in play.
