Even bigger clue: since the first character of the answer is filled in for you, that lets you do a lot of logical inference based on the previously suggested logic.

It's a logic puzzle. Fill in the blank spaces the the keys. The dots indicate whether the characters are correct (in terms of the answer), but are not indicative of position themselves. put the letters from the first key in the spaces along the top. put the letters from the second key in the spaces along the bottom. then figure out why 17 connects two of them and -14 connects another two. Then do the same for all of them.
