Re: Page 15

This is a simple puzzle that does require some knowledge of folklore. Google is your friend here. Nevertheless below are some graded hints leading to the solution which is a common 4-letter word describing a plural noun. It assumes you know [key.10]. If you don't know it, then don't continue. If you...

Re: Page 23

This can be a fairly tricky puzzle if you have an older edition of the book. Once you have a few basic understandings about the page, however, it becomes fairly straightforward. The solution is found in the 8X8 grid of squares, the numbers in them, the jewel like symbol in the upper left of the grid...

Re: Page 10

Can anyone offer an explanation as to what 4 skulls, two of which are mirror images, has anything to do with anything for this clue? It comes from the context of the work the puzzle is based on and the solution it yields. Click below for more info (spoiler warning): In Shakespeare's Hamlet, the mai...

Re: Page 56

Below are some graded hints leading to the solution. It assumes you know keys 49, 53, 54,and 55. If you don't know them, then don't continue. This puzzle is basically a chemistry themed rebus, where you add/subtract words and parts of words to come up with the final answer, which is ultimately a sin...

Re: Page 9

I posted the answer above a few posts if you're really stuck.

BTW, this is one of the most 'out there' puzzles in the book. It requires a lot of extra digging and head scratching. The rest of the book isn't this bad in my opinion. . .

Yeah--the puzzles do challenge you to think more out of the box than ever before and really stretch you in novel ways from a critical thinking standpoint. . .

Re: Page 30

Unfortunately, I don't have my book with me, but below are some hints that I think will get you to the solution (if I remember the pages correctly from memory). First, look at the upper right-hand corner of the page. You'll notice that the artwork design has a triangularly-shaped area in white in th...

Re: Page 20

This puzzle is an easier one, but suffers from some glitches unrelated to the puzzle itself that can hang you up. Know that: 1) the main clue is ' JKK {key.13} {key.16} ' and ' I must call the team '. All else on the page can be ignored as purely decoration and not related to the puzzle solution its...
